NUS

What is NUS?

The National Union of Students is the peak representative body for post-secondary students in Australia.

With most campus student organisations affiliated, NUS is the national voice on all student related issues. Since 1987, the Union has been working on campuses to build power and create change for students around issues such as Youth Allowance, Universal Student Unionism, International Student Issues and Equity in Higher Education.

From campus-specific campaigns to applying pressure on the Government in Canberra, NUS fights to ensure that the student experience is fair and that students get the most from the education they pay for.
